Manchester’s Darren Williams, a.k.a Star Slinger, melds retro soul samples with forward-thinking house beats, producing introspective, yet highly innovative electronic music. Already he’s supported well-respected acts such as Caribou, and Washed Out during dates in his hometown. Now, however, he’s finding out how green the grass is on the other side of the pond. He’s ten shows into his first ever American tour, taking in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington to name a few. The glitchy post-modern electro of Shigeto accompanies every date – Mux Mool & Shlohmo are also featuring on dates.
