NEWS: Spector Announce New Single & UK Tour

Londoners Spector have announced two pieces of news that will be good news to fans of the creators of cult hit ‘Chevy Thunder’ and one of nominations for the BBC’s ‘Sound of 2012’ poll.

Having previously played live around the UK on both ‘Spectour II’ and support dates with Florence + the Machine, they will release their attempt at a 21st century love song in the form of ‘Celestine’, on May 21st.

2012 will be a busy year for the band. Living up to the hype they’ve been given is always a hard task but the best way is to play lot’s of shows to lot’s of people in order to show that they are worth the attention. With their first live dates in North America and the band’s third headline UK tour to date; ‘Spectour III’ will see them play a sold-out Electric Ballroom show in May and UK, European and Japanese festivals are scheduled throughout the Summer.

With a debut album released later in the year, their live shows will be a good indication on whether they continue to be a success.
