Egyptian Hip Hop And Dutch Uncles – London

Egyptian Hip Hop may be planning their touring schedule around the demands of a school timetable, but nonetheless they are hotly-tipped as being one of the biggest acts to watch out for in 2011. With an ear for electro-pop melodies, these four youngsters are akin to fellow Mancunian runaway success story, Hurts. Previous EP, Some Reptiles Developed Wings, saw the enthusiasm shared by fellow city residents and gig-goers transfer nationally with the first track from it, Moon Crooner, gaining widespread radio support.

Tonight Egyptian Hip Hop are to play a New To Q Session in London. Already in this week of gigs, Clare Maguire, Noah And The Whale, and Funeral Party, have taken to the stage. How will these 17-year-old’s handle the pressure of the big city? In this nod to the North the lads are joined on the bill by Dutch Uncles.
