NEWS: The Killers to play one-off show in Leeds’ O2 Academy

The Killers have today announced plans for a special one-off show before their scheduled appearance at this year’s V Festival on August 18th and 19th. The band, fronted by Brandon Flowers will play a single headline date at the O2 Academy in Leeds on August 17th. The Las Vegas band look set to use this as an opportunity to treat Northern music fans to a taste of their new album Battle Born which is due to hit shelves on September 17th.

As their first record in over four years, Battle Born was created with help from a number of high profile producers including Madonna collaborator Stuart Price. Fans attending this Leeds preview show should expect performances of new tracks Flesh and Bone, Heart of a Girl and Carry Me Home as well as their latest single Runaways which is sure to make an appearance. Tickets for this special show go on sale Friday July 20th and 9am.
